Maria de Lourdes Lopez Torres is from Mexico and was raised in Los Angeles. She graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills and she is excited to start her first year teaching! Ms. Lopez Torres's goal is for students to discover the different opportunities they have to learn in the classroom and the world around them because this will lead students to see their strengths in academics and find more ways in which they can become stronger students.  She wants for students to learn about the different opportunities they have in future careers so higher education can be seen as an attainable goal. she is looking forward to build a strong community with parents, students and the EQ6 team.
